Client Responsibility:

When booking with us, you acknowledge that all our clients must be fully insured for their safari and travels. This includes coverage for trip cancellations, medical emergencies, evacuation, damages, and repatriation. Given the unique challenges of traveling in wildlife areas, adequate insurance is not just recommended—it’s essential.

Mandatory Indemnity Form:

Upon arrival, our clients are required to complete and sign a standard indemnity form. This document includes their medical insurance details and confirms their understanding of the inherent risks associated with safari travel. Compliance with this requirement is mandatory for all guests.

Emergency Support Cover:

Every booking with Katikati Tours and Safaris includes a compulsory Emergency Support Cover at $35 per person “AMREF FLying Doctor Insurance”. This invaluable service offers:

• • Access to international medical professionals and local Park Doctors for minor illnesses or injuries.

  • Critical care during nighttime hours when evacuation aircraft are unable to fly.

  • Flying Doctors evacuation to the most suitable hospital in-country or regionally, if necessary.

  • A financial safety net to ensure immediate medical treatment while awaiting approval from the client’s insurance provider.

Important Note: The Emergency Support Cover is designed to complement, not replace, comprehensive travel insurance. It acts as an additional layer of protection during emergencies.
